What’s happening in Jupiter Florida
Jupiter Real Estate News
As we pass half way through the summer months here in Jupiter Florida I thought it would be a great time to recap the real estate market in Jupiter and what else is happening here in town. First we’ll talk about Harbourside Place , the newest addition to Riverwalk which will feature a hotel, several restaurants, as well as retail and office space. Last week they finally hung the sign for the new building. The developer also did a drone aerial of the project which was featured in the Palm Beach Post. The expected opening is later this year. The Wyndham grand will be anchor hotel with a deck top pool with views of the intracoastal. Several area restaurants are also looking to move in to the new project.

The Rustic Inn of Fort Lauderdale is also taking over the now-defunct Bubba Gump Fish House and should be opening before season. We will now have U Tiki, the latest addition to Riverwalk, Jetty’s in the Rustic Inn all sitting on the Jupiter inlet with views of Jupiter inlet colony and Jupiter lighthouse. Other restaurants includes Schooners, Guanabanas and the square grouper all along beach road at the end of Riverwalk. The other end of Riverwalk will go through Jupiter yacht club and down the intracoastal ending at ocean way. The entire project will bring a downtown feel as well as destination for people from the surrounding areas.
Downtown Abacoa Jupiter
Baseball fans will be surprised next year for spring training. The large parking lot next to the Stadium will now be rental apartments and the new Marriott Hotel where you once parked to go to Roger Dean Stadium. Both the apartments and the hotel should be a boost to downtown Abacoa and the local businesses. Rooney’s Irish pub a long time tenant of Abacoa has closed its doors after years on main street and a favorite nightspot. With the influx of guests and new residents we hope to see a revitalized downtown.
Abacoa Homes
The last Abacoa community of Windsor Park is steadily breaking ground and releasing new homes and townhomes. The demand for this last Abacoa community seems to be a highly sought after project. With several new models as well as minor changes to older models this being the last community should have the perfect home for just about every buyer. Last time I spoke with the sales staff we were seeing buyers camping out to purchase a new home. Somewhat reminiscent of 2005/ 2006. The community features both Key West style homes as well as a French provincial look with stone facades. Single-family homes start at 412,000 which gives you and 1800 ft.² home. This starts about $230 per square foot. The smaller townhomes are just 1500 ft.² with a starting price of 265,000. Altogether there are 17 models available to purchase. If you can’t wait for a new home you may want to check out Mallory Creek at Abacoa, a Key West style community.
If we can help you purchase a new home here in Abacoa or Jupiter feel free to call and we will assist you in finding the perfect community to call home.
