Most of the communities are built after 2000 and subdivisions like Mallory Creek are only a few years old. Inside Abacoa we have several schools including Beacon Cove Middle as well as both Jupiter Lighthouse and Jupiter Middle. All are some of the top schools in Palm Beach County. For higher education Florida Atlantic University and the Honors College is located inside the community. Downtown Abacoa condos make a great place for college students to live. There are also a few County Parks inside which have roller hockey rinks, basketball courts and racquetball courts. Don’t forget the Abacoa Golf Club a beautiful Florida course. It is one of the more popular Jupiter communities.
The biggest attraction especially during the months of February and March is Roger Dean Stadium where all you see is Red Cardinal Jerseys roaming around the community. Home to the Cardinals and Marlins spring training. If that isn’t enough each community has its own community pool and a few have fitness centers as well. Plenty to do here in Abacoa.
Don’t forget about Downtown Abacoa where you will find restaurants, bars and shops. There always seems to be something going on here at night. The classic car show always draws big crowds and the fireworks as well as the art show. They have several different clubs that you can join. The idea of living and playing where you live is what draws people to Abacoa here in Jupiter.
Real estate in Abacoa ranges from small 1 bedroom condos to 4,000 sq. ft custom homes. Each community has a unique theme with several townhomes and different model single family homes available. The newest communities are Windsor Walk and Mallory Creek but the Island always seems to be a popular choice as it sits on the golf course.
