Day out in Abacoa
Showing Homes in Abacoa
Today I showed some homes in Abacoa and decided to have lunch while out showing to break up our day. The first part of the day we visited Cambridge and showed a nice Ellyson model which is a single story 1,800 sq. ft 3 bedroom home. It is a popular model due to the single story and ample sq. footage with a two car garage. Even with apool you still have a small yard for a dog which can be fenced. It gives you the privacy of a home with very little maintenance. These homes are selling in the $400,000 range and are available in all the Abacoa communities. This home had the white picket fence in the front yard and just showed very well and gave you a nice warm feeling. Cambridge was built in the 2000/2001 range and has two sections to the community. Of course it has the typical Abacoa clubhouse and pool where you pick up your mail and meet your neighbors.
Mallory Creek Abacoa Homes
Our next stop was a Sandpiper model in Mallory Creek. This was a new model that was first available in Mallory Creek. The 2bd/plus den home sits on a wider 65 ft. lot than the Ellyson and has a large front porch and open kitchen to the living area. Many of the homes have impact glass and upgraded kitchens and baths that weren’t seen in previous Abacoa communities. Granite and S/S plus 42″ wood cabinets were now available as were the taller bathroom cabinets with granite as well. This home was listed at just over $500,000 and is available in Windsor Walk as anew construction as well.
Valencia in Abacoa
Our next stop was Valencia in Abacoa the premier community of custom built homes. Valencia was the custom home community when Abacoa was developed and had larger homes as well as many upgrades not available in the other communities. They have plenty of vegetation and shrubbery to give you that Palm Beach feel of privacy. Homes range from 2,300 to 5,000 sq. ft and several different models and lot sizes. The community just has that upscale feeling to it. The home we looked at today was 2,300 sq. ft under air with a 3 car garage and a pool. This was a beautiful home and priced aggressively to sell at $599,000. This is the only Abacoa community that offers gas for your home and it is in the Jupiter High School district boundaries.
Dining in Abacoa
Our last stop today was for lunch at Fit Body Bistro a new restaurant I tried today. They offer low calorie, low fat meals with protein shakes and smoothies as well. They offer 100% Gluten Free , healthy food. I had the Light Weight entree which consisted of 3oz of Turkey, roated garlic, Jasmine rice and broccoli. The meal was quite delicious and the service was outstanding. The owner was very polite and friendly. The only negative was I could have used more food but I guess that is the purpose of the restaurant to control you calorie intake and still give you a good tasting meal. They are located at 5440 Military Trail in the Publix shopping center.
